Ashleigh "Nothin' But Strikes" Altemann puts yet another X on the big board
For Brand Labs’ holiday party this year, the crew descended on Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills, MI and proceeded to engage in some of the worst bowling in recorded history. In our defense, we spend a great deal of time in darkened rooms, sitting in front of and staring at computer monitors, so it would be fair to say that from an evolutionary standpoint, we’re closer to human veal than trained athletes. Still, there was pizza and beer and camaraderie, so it wasn’t a total loss… and we even had one 300 game! (This is a blatant lie, though we believe that if you were to add all of the scores from every single game bowled by every person in attendance, there’s a good chance that it would be pretty close to 300.)
Great fun was had by all and the entire staff would like to thank Kevin Harman and Dane Downer for the opportunity to so completely embarrass ourselves in public. Perhaps the shame associated with our performance will have faded by next year and we can do it again…

Pauline Alexander, well on her way to beating her personal all-time bowling record high score, which she didn't want us to mention here because she didn't want to brag (...it was 101)

To be fair, I did strike in that frame and played shockingly well with the wool hand-knitted pink scarf despite the intense heat it was producing. I wish we could have gotten shots of Alex and I bowling between each others’ legs, that would have made it onto the blog for sure. Maybe next year :)

Awesome!
