Brand Labs Goes Coast to Coast With Google & Shop.org

Posted: Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Brand Labs, eCommerce, Industry, Internet, Partners, Volusion

Big week here at Brand Labs… our bosses are out of town! With no one around to tell us what to do, that means we can drink milk right out of the carton, have cake for breakfast and stay up all night adjusting PPC campaigns!  WOO-HOO!

Of course our ever-vigilant leaders would never leave us unsupervised without a very good reason – two very good reasons, actually.  Brand Labs’ president, Kevin Harman, is exhibiting with Volusion at Shop.org’s annual summit in Boston.  We’re sharing booth #1113 in the exhibit hall and Kevin is always eager to network after the show, so you should hit him up.  He’s like a business-card-hurling free drink machine.

At the other end of our great nation, you’ll find Dane Downer (Brand Labs’ VP) at the very exclusive Google Analytic Partner Summit.   You know why you never heard of it?  Because you totally weren’t invited.  It’s an invitation-only affair for Google Analytics Partners.  It’s our understanding that all attendees will actually be able to get their pictures taken sitting on the Google Bunny’s lap!  We’re very, very jealous.

Brand Labs at Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition 2011

Brand Labs at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition (IRCE) 2011Next week marks a big milestone for Brand Labs – we’ll be exhibiting for the first time at IRCE 2011 in San Diego, CA!

The Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition is the premiere event for the eCommerce industry and we’re pleased to be taking our rightful place as part of the big show.  A portion of our team of experts will set up camp in the exhibit hall (booth 936) for the duration of the show.  We’ll be answering questions about eCommerce, Volusion, AutoResponderMax and anything else you’ve got.  We’ll also be giving away two year-long AutoResponderMax subscriptions and an iPad (in cooperation with our friends at Volusion).

Pictured here is our mobile team of experts.  From the top left (clockwise), Dane Downer, Kevin Harman, Ryan Forrest, Katelyn Stanis and Sal Agrusa.  Look for their happy, smiling faces in front of the greenest damn display in the whole exhibit hall.

Volusion Adds AutoResponderMax to Partner Lineup

Posted: Friday, May 6, 2011 in Apps and Plugins, News, Partners, Volusion

Volusion adds Auto Responder Max to its partner programOur strategic partners at Volusion (our eCommerce platform of choice) have officially added AutoResponderMax to their partners’ marketplace.

AutoResponderMax is the only multifunction auto responder built specifically for Volusion – and even if there were others, it would still be the best (Grandma always said it’s not bragging if it’s true).  With AutoResponderMax, you can set up a multi-tiered, automated client outreach program that’s completely integrated with your Volusion store in minutes… seriously.  Minutes.  Granted, if you want to play around and customize your program, you can do it as much as you want to.  Using the system’s built-in reporting dashboard, you can track all of your program’s activity and tweak it until it’s perfect for your business.  As a matter of fact, you have so much control over your programs that we can’t properly describe the scope of AutoResponderMax’s abilities here (but we can here).  Let’s just say that we know it works.  AutoResponderMax builds revenue.  Period.

… but you don’t have to take our word for it.  You can try AutoResponderMax FREE for 30 days.  At the end of that trial period, if you’re not as thrilled with it as Volusion is, you can simply cancel the service and it won’t cost you one single cent.

… but we’re pretty damn sure that you’re totally gonna want to keep it.

As Promised, Brand Labs Lands at SXSW

Posted: Monday, March 14, 2011 in Brand Labs, Community, Corporate Culture, Industry, National, News, Partners, Volusion

Brand Labs and Kevin Harman Live at SXSW with VolusionAs we’ve mentioned a couple of times, our president, Kevin Harman (shown here in a completely spontaneous and not-at-all-photoshopped live image from the show floor) is at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Expo.

From what we’ve heard so far, he’s representin’ well for eCommerce and for the D.  Any minute now, the show will be breaking up for the day and Kevin will be doing what he does best: inserting business-related talk into social situations.  So if you like your SEO talk served up with an ice-cold Corona (no lime) then you should head over to booth 913 and look for this happy, smiling face.

(Interesting side note: Kevin actually never stops sharing his encyclopedic eCommerce knowledge, so if you just stand near him for 5 – 7 minutes, it’s pretty likely that your SEO will go up simply by osmosis.)

Brand Labs Takes a Stand with Volusion at SXSW

Posted: Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Brand Labs, Community, Corporate Culture, News, Partners, Volusion

As we reported earlier, our president, Kevin Harman, will be manning the Brand Labs half of Volusion’s booth at the SXSW Interactive Festival next week (March 14-17).

Since pretty much everyone knows that South by Southwest is the premier venue for music, film and technology, we won’t bore you by rehashing that fact.  Instead, we’re going to spend the remainder of this post debating the merit of SXSW’s decision to refer to each exhibitor’s space as a “stand” as opposed to a “booth.”  Ready?

It is undeniably and totally dumb to call a booth a stand.  Period.

Now that we’ve got that sorted out, Volusion and Brand Labs will be in “stand” 913.  Come on by and learn everything you ever wanted to know about eCommerce.  Kevin will be standing in our stand all week.

Brand Labs Joins Volusion at South by Southwest (SXSW)

South by Southwest 2011 - Volusion and Brand LabsBrand Labs is pleased to announce that we’ll be sharing a booth with Volusion at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival this year.

We’ve been working closely with Volusion for years (developing client-specific, enterprise-level solutions as well as a full range of eCommerce services) but this will be our public debut as a partner in those endeavors.

From March 14-17 (mere days away), our president, Kevin Harman, will be in stand 913 at SXSW’s Interactive Conference – spreading the word about our incomparable eCommerce design, marketing and custom development services.

For more information about the festival, visit their site here, and if you happen to be planning to attend, be sure to drop by our stand and say hi to Kevin.  He’ll be dropping eCommerce knowledge like Vanessa Hudgens dropped Zac Efron.  (Side note: we’re trying to pepper our posts with more celebrity gossip as an excuse to spend time on TMZ.com.)

Volusion Gives Brand Labs a Huge Gold Star

Posted: Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Brand Labs, Partners, Volusion

Volusion's Holiday Gift to Brand LabsWe just received a delightful collection of nuts from our friends at Volusion (side note – “A Delightful Collection of Nuts” is our alternate company motto).

Okay, so the star-shaped gift basket itself is technically red, not gold, but it is absolutely covered in what we estimate to be nearly 12 bazillion gold stars.  We have chosen to interpret that as a blatant expression of the deep and abiding feelings that Volusion has for Brand Labs.

… of course the possibility exists that Volusion sent similar gifts to all of their business associates, but we’re getting a real love vibe off of these nuts.

… yes, we know how that sounded, but we’re sticking to it.

Thanks Volusion!

We’re proud to announce the launch of CoolTools.us!

More than just a website design, our relationship with Cool Tools extends to merchandising, marketing and even custom development on an ongoing basis because they’re part of our growing family of Brand Labs Complete clients.  Of course, we’d hate to make this posting all about us, so back to the topic at hand…

Even for the experienced metal clay artist, Cool Tools offers a unique line of products, because they’re not just a store, they’re a brand – offering a full range of supplies and tools that you can’t find anywhere else.

Congratulations on your new store, Cool Tools!  We think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Geez, Volusion… Why Don’t You Just Marry Us Already?

Volusion just launched their new website and we’re pretty sure they’re hitting on us.

If you click around the site, you’ll get to see a decent amount of Brand Labs designs mixed in as examples of the sort of fantastic sites that can be created for the platform… including the most prominent example on the landing page for the Showcase Gallery itself: National Geographic UK.  That’s one of ours!

Also, though they’re a bit harder to make out in the background, they’ve also included the Red Hat Society Store and EcoMowers.com, two of our oldest clients.
