 If you’ve followed Brand Labs at all, it’s likely that you know that we’re Volusion merchants ourselves… and in case you didn’t know, our largest Volusion store is the official Red Hat Society Store. It’s the one that launched our business (back before it was officially associated with The Society) and it’s very near and dear to us. With all of that in mind, we’re doubly proud to announce that The Red Hat Society Store has just received a major facelift!
In order to be more accommodating to our audience, many of whom are advanced in years (but still fabulous) we’ve increased the site’s overall usability. With simpler (and larger) navigation and more prominent contact information (among other improvements), we’ve tweaked everything to ensure that our clients have the best possible user experience.
So, congratulations to us from us! Good job, us! Gosh, thanks, us. We couldn’t have done it without us.

 Our latest Volusion store launch makes us think of the part in The Godfather after Michael Corleone kills Sollozzo and McCluskey and he flees to the old country to escape the subsequent mob war – only without all of the graphic violence and moral ambiguity.
The Olive Oil Merchant stands poised to deliver only the finest Italian olive oil and specialty foods to our lucky, lucky canuckian neighbors. With their clear dedication to quality and tradition, they’re sure to bring some Mediterranean sunshine to the Great White North.

 Sure, we’re always happy to launch a new store. Each of our customers brings something new and exciting to the table. We’ve learned a lot about shelving, lighting, sports apparel, lingerie, home and garden gifts, shore excursions, t shirts, mixed martial arts and a hundred other things… but THIS IS CANDY! C’mon… CANDY! Who doesn’t love candy?
Mmmmmm… candy.
Anyhoo, we’re (obviously) happy to announce the launch of Ooh La La Candy! With a variety of gift assortments and candy-filled greeting cards, Ooh La La has something for every occasion, but their premier product is clearly their candy cupcake: a whimsical novelty treat that is an absolute delight to receive. We say that from experience.
As we’ve mentioned in previous posts (here and here), there’s little that we enjoy more than surprise packages filled with tasty treats and the nice folks at Ooh La La were kind enough to launch their site design project with a box full of their delicious wares.  As we continue to unearth some previously hidden treasures, it seemed appropriate to begin today with National Geographic UK. Of course, as a long-standing institution in both publishing and world exploration, they require no introduction, so we’ll just leave it at famous client name-dropping.
With the wedding season fast approaching, could there be a more fitting introduction than Ella Park Bridal? With a brick & mortar store in Newburgh, IN, Ella Park not only uses their site to sell online, but to schedule appointments for their real world salon and to gather information from brides-to-be in order to make their on-site visits more fruitful. It’s an excellent integration of the real and the virtual.
Grounded is dedicated to modern living and the home furnishings and gifts that go along with a contemporary lifestyle. Their site is clean and airy and makes us want to make a nice cup of green tea, listen to NPR and talk about post-modernist French cinema.

 With 10 brick and mortar stores scattered around the Pacific Northwest (and Idaho), Fuego already has an established reputation as the go-to store for distinctive gifts, accessories and apparel, and now they’re poised to go worldwide with their new Volusion site – shopfuego.com (designed by Brand Labs, of course). We’re pleased to have been a part of their cyber-expansion and we’d like to welcome Fuego to our ever-expanding family!
