We’re jumping the gun a bit on this one, but it’s super sunny today so we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to talk about Solar Geek Living’s new Volusion store.
Granted, it’s not fully merchandised (unless you’re looking to stock up on some lorem ipsum) but even now you can begin to get an idea of the full range of alternative energy products that will soon be available at Solar Geek.
We also designed and implemented their blog. Again, it’s not quite ready for its national debut, but, like we said, the summer sun’s got us thinking solar, so we thought we’d pass it along.
Congratulations, Solar Geek!

Our latest site launch has us glowing with pride (as well awakening in us a strong desire to exploit every light-related pun, gag and play-on-words that we have in our bag of tricks – we will, however, restrain ourselves).
Lighting by Lux is the online sister store to Lux Lighting – a 20 year old institution with a 7500 square foot brick and mortar showroom in Atlanta, GA. Seventy. Five. Hundred. Square. Feet. That’s a heck of a lot of lights. Let’s put it this way: there are over 300 items in their chandelier category. That basically means that if you need a fixture and Lux doesn’t have it, you’d better start building it yourself because we’re pretty sure they carry everything that plugs in and lights up.
Welcome to the Brand Labs family, Lighting by Lux!
… see? No more light-related puns – just like we promised… just a radiant review of our brilliant new client.
Damn. So close…
Are you tired of Volusion sites with lots of confusing pages? Do you want to eliminate the tiresome clicking that stands between browsing and buying? Is it a backbreaking chore just to get from your home page to the checkout? Well your worries are over! Introducing the ONE-PAGE VOLUSION SITE! As seen on WTPillow.com!
Not only does this site use embedded flash and video to fully describe the product in a single page, but it also gathers the customer info from the home page and populates the checkout page WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL!
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! As soon as the customer fills out their credit card info, a window pops up AUTOMATICALLY, showing the customer a SPECIAL, LIMITED TIME OFFER!
How much would YOU expect to pay for such a HIGH QUALITY website? $50,000? $100,000? Well, if you ACT NOW, we can give you the ONE-PAGE VOLUSION SITE, the INFO POPULATION TOOL AND the AUTOMATIC OFFER POP UP for a special ONE-TIME-ONLY price!! CALL NOW! Operators are standing by. (This offer not available in stores. Void in Uzbekistan. Must be 18 or older.)
As we continue to unearth some previously hidden treasures, it seemed appropriate to begin today with National Geographic UK. Of course, as a long-standing institution in both publishing and world exploration, they require no introduction, so we’ll just leave it at famous client name-dropping.

With the wedding season fast approaching, could there be a more fitting introduction than Ella Park Bridal? With a brick & mortar store in Newburgh, IN, Ella Park not only uses their site to sell online, but to schedule appointments for their real world salon and to gather information from brides-to-be in order to make their on-site visits more fruitful. It’s an excellent integration of the real and the virtual.

Grounded is dedicated to modern living and the home furnishings and gifts that go along with a contemporary lifestyle. Their site is clean and airy and makes us want to make a nice cup of green tea, listen to NPR and talk about post-modernist French cinema.

As we continue to catch up with our site launch updates, The Garden Gates just jumped to the front of the line. They did so in the second best way possible. They gave us a shout-out in a national publication: Garden Center Magazine. (The best way to skip to the front of the line is, of course, buckets of cash.)
The Garden Gates offers a wide variety of decorative items for the home and garden, and while we find their site completely delightful, they see it as so much more. They see it as the successful end of a long and expensive process that included custom commerce platforms and templated sites. Having finally found us, they’re pleased to finally be playing on a level playing field with their largest competitors.
We’re pleased to have been a part of their journey to eCommerce success and we thank them kindly for recognizing our contribution on the national stage.

We’ve been pretty darn busy lately building the Interwebs, so we apologize for our recent absence. We’ll be making up for it with a vengeance in the days to come and we can think of no better way to begin than with the launch of a new eCommerce site by one of our own.
Ryan Forrest, a key member of our sales staff has launched Verde Lifestyles with his partner, Danielle Brycz. Dedicated to green living and selling exclusively organic, renewable and recycled products for the home, Verde offers a world of decorating choices for the environmentally (and design) conscious.
Of course, when the time came to choose a platform for their new venture, Ryan and Danielle went with Volusion, knowing full well that it would suit their needs today and tomorrow. They also chose to hire Brand Labs for their design and implementation and as thanks for their faith in us, they received a truly beautiful site that speaks well of their brand and its goals.
Verde Lifestyles is absolute proof of our faith in Volusion and a further demostration of our understanding of the needs of the eCommerce merchant. We know online business because we are online business.
Welcome Verde!
