It seems that more and more manufacturers are moving to direct-to-consumer online sales. Ecommerce is quickly becoming a critical element of every business model and manufacturers can’t ignore the trend. Luckily, we happen to be experts in manufacturing and ecommerce so we’re more than equipped to help any company move from wholesale-only to D2C (or to a combination of both).
In Crucial Vacuum’s case, they’ve been selling D2C since 2009, but their new, Brand-Labs-designed Volusion store is sure to keep them on top of the vacuum supply market for years to come. As of this moment, they remain the only vacuum supply manufacturer that’s selling direct to the consumer and that’s an enviable position.

 We recently promised a parade of site launch posts, but then the world and SXSW got in the way, but now, true to our word, we present a cluster of site launch designs.
Let’s kick things off with Hot Tub Things, for good reason: we did pretty much the whole darn site. We do a lot of sites. We do a lot of parts of sites… in this case, we designed every bit and even did a lot of the photography. Hot Tub Things is a great example of our range, as well as their own.
Hot Tub Things prides itself on being an all-encompassing source for everything you could ever need for your hot tub, and (not to put too fine a point on it) we’re pretty much the same for eCommerce. You need excellent design? Check? Product photography? Check. SEO? Check. We can even create a product-specific search system just like we did for Hot Tub Things. We can make your store what you want it to be.
You know there’s that one thing (or several things) that you know are missing from your site; that little extra something that will set you apart from your competition: your Big Idea. So… back to the launch of Hot Tub Things new Volusion store, we just want to suggest that you check it out and continue to do so as we continue to add exciting new content to help HTT become the Internet’s 800 pound hot tub gorilla.
 For those who don’t already know, Gold Violin is a store entirely dedicated to products for independent living. With that in mind, we designed their new Volusion store for increased ease of usability.
In addition to the prominent, high-contrast checkout button in the header, you’ll see that throughout the site there are oversize images, large type and especially clear calls to action.
This site is a perfect example of the notion that there are no hard and fast rules for “good” online store design. Each business is different and they all have unique needs. We don’t traffic in one-size-fits-all solutions.

 We seem to have hit another of those spots where the launches are coming fast and furious, so we’re gonna hit you with two today: Chassis Liner Supply and Independence Bunting.
Now, businesses with self-explanatory names are nothing new, but in this case, the names are so dead on that it’s left us little room to blather on about them.
… though it could certainly be argued that Chassis Liner Supply is more of an overall automotive equipment supply company, you could certainly count on them to fulfill all of your chassis supply needs.
 Independence Bunting, on the other hand, sells exactly what you expect them to – bunting. Yup… semicircles of striped drapery for all of your bunting needs. If you have a venue that needs to be bunted, Independence Bunting most definitely has you covered.

… it’s so nice to start the weekend with a double launch. Makes us feel good about our plan to sleep until noon tomorrow.
 One of our most recent site launches, Favi Entertainment, has at least one defining quality that makes it stand out from the clutter of electronics dealers on the Internet… they sell HOT PINK TVs! Seriously! HOT PINK TVs! They’re so awesome that they were featured on The View.
Okay… let’s forget about the HOT PINK TVs for just one second and focus on the quality and affordability of Favi’s products. The fact is that they make some of the best… HOT PINK TVs in THE WHOLE WORLD!
Sorry. You just don’t get to see too many hot pink TVs out in the world, so we’re pretty focused on them right now even though Favi makes a full line of great and affordable electronics and equipment and we’re thrilled to have brought their new Volusion store on line.

 Essential Air (cleanairrevolution.com) has a whole new Volusion store thanks to Brand Labs. We could go on and on about their remarkable products that are sure to improve the quality of your life, but today we’re feeling a bit self centered, so we just wanna talk about us, and since we’re also feeling lazy, we’re going to let Essential Air do the talking:

 We’d like to announce the launch of Cris Design Shop’s brand new Volusion site!

That sounds just about right. Welcome Cris Design!
 This is another one of those cases wherein the name of the store in question has completely robbed this announcement of any sense of mystery so we’ll just go ahead and say it… Sprinkler Supply Store sells sprinkler supplies. (duh).
If it has to do with suburban irrigation needs, Sprinkler Supply has you covered. Hoses, valves, sprinklers – they’ve got it all.
BUT, lest you think that they’re completely one-note, Sprinkler Supply also sells landscape lighting, gardening supplies and products to meet all of your decorative water feature needs.
So, we were wrong about the name telling the whole story. Our apologies to the fine folks at Sprinkler Supply Store and welcome to the Brand Labs family!
 If you’ve followed Brand Labs at all, it’s likely that you know that we’re Volusion merchants ourselves… and in case you didn’t know, our largest Volusion store is the official Red Hat Society Store. It’s the one that launched our business (back before it was officially associated with The Society) and it’s very near and dear to us. With all of that in mind, we’re doubly proud to announce that The Red Hat Society Store has just received a major facelift!
In order to be more accommodating to our audience, many of whom are advanced in years (but still fabulous) we’ve increased the site’s overall usability. With simpler (and larger) navigation and more prominent contact information (among other improvements), we’ve tweaked everything to ensure that our clients have the best possible user experience.
So, congratulations to us from us! Good job, us! Gosh, thanks, us. We couldn’t have done it without us.
