 There are two things we’d like to make note of about this picture:
First, look at the size of the frigging ENORMOUS tin of popcorn that was sent to our staff by The Spotted Cat Company as a holiday gift and thank you for the work we’ve done with their store and its marketing. Seriously… that thing is bigger than an above average-sized Peruvian Capybara (look it up). It’s bigger than the hole in Bernie Madoff’s soul. It’s bigger than what would normally be considered a really big tin of popcorn. The point is that it’s super big.
Second, we’d like to point out that Dane is doing nothing to help Vera hold the popcorn up. Nothing. Her knuckles are actually white and he’s just standing there looking suave, while Vera grits her teeth against the monstrous weight of all that flipping corn.
Well, thanks Spotted Cat! We guarantee that the tin is a helluva lot less heavy now than it was when we got it. We cannot say the same for our thighs.
 This one was a bit of an undertaking because the fine folks at Signature Announcements had an unyielding vision for their site that compelled us to work some fairly impressive custom Volusion magic.
As you click through the site, you’ll see that each of the main categories has an entirely unique template. Bear in mind that the site is hosted on a single Volusion account, so the fact that the Kindergarten category is covered in colorful handprints while the Alumni category is filled with vintage school memorabilia is kind of a minor development miracle.
In addition to the category-specific templates, we created a custom search refinement tool and a whole bunch of little tweaks throughout to accommodate this sprawling and ambitious site. Once again, we’re using every trick in the book the stretch Volusion to its limits. That’s just how we roll.

 Sure, we’re always happy to launch a new store. Each of our customers brings something new and exciting to the table. We’ve learned a lot about shelving, lighting, sports apparel, lingerie, home and garden gifts, shore excursions, t shirts, mixed martial arts and a hundred other things… but THIS IS CANDY! C’mon… CANDY! Who doesn’t love candy?
Mmmmmm… candy.
Anyhoo, we’re (obviously) happy to announce the launch of Ooh La La Candy! With a variety of gift assortments and candy-filled greeting cards, Ooh La La has something for every occasion, but their premier product is clearly their candy cupcake: a whimsical novelty treat that is an absolute delight to receive. We say that from experience.
As we’ve mentioned in previous posts (here and here), there’s little that we enjoy more than surprise packages filled with tasty treats and the nice folks at Ooh La La were kind enough to launch their site design project with a box full of their delicious wares.  With 10 brick and mortar stores scattered around the Pacific Northwest (and Idaho), Fuego already has an established reputation as the go-to store for distinctive gifts, accessories and apparel, and now they’re poised to go worldwide with their new Volusion site – shopfuego.com (designed by Brand Labs, of course). We’re pleased to have been a part of their cyber-expansion and we’d like to welcome Fuego to our ever-expanding family!
